Job Title: Purchasing Specialist

Job Description:

The Purchasing Specialist is the point of contact and is responsible for all purchases and shipments. This position is also responsible for proper communication of status and expectations to key stakeholders and customers.

What You Will Do:

  • Purchase control of all goods, including managing logistics, transportation, distribution and receiving.

  • Coordinate logistics for international product orders and delivery.

  • Responsible for reviewing air & ocean freight costs, preparing freight estimations and freight annual budgets.

  • Manage vendor relationships which includes, landed cost negotiations, and ensure the most cost-effective import and export methods are being used.

  • Investigate issues with damaged goods, invalid item identifications/ labels and missing items.

  • Responsible for identifying primary & secondary sources of raw materials ensuring supply chain stability.

  • Partner with Master Scheduler for in-house built products to maintain efficient factory loading, schedule raw materials and evaluate sourcing opportunities.

  • Contribute to inventory management process by supporting the cycle count program, and reviewing excess and obsolete, and expiring material to minimize scrap.

What You Will Bring:

  • High School Diploma or GED with 4 years of relevant Purchase Ordering experience, or any combination of education, experience, and training which provides the desired knowledge, skills, and abilities.

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook); Working knowledge of Microsoft and google office packages.

  • Experience working with ERP systems is required.

  • Experience partnering with Accounts Payable is required.

  • Ability to work independently with little instruction and can adapt to change.

  • Ability to translate business needs into action-oriented solutions.

  • Demonstrated commitment to achieving the organization's goals and objectives.

  • Ability to think strategically and interact with all levels of the organization.

 Job Title: Various Production and Ski Technician Openings

Type of Position:  Full-Time (32-40 hours/week)

General Description of Duties

Headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah, DPS designs, manufactures and sells the world’s most advanced skis. We are looking for motivated individuals who are comfortable working with a small team in a demanding manufacturing environment where the highest level to attention and detail is required. A ski or snowboard enthusiast is a plus, as is a background in composites. Additionally, the successful candidate should be extremely detail-oriented with a strong desire to do their job perfectly. Must be able to lift 30 pounds from floor-to-table height on a regular basis and strive for constant improvement within yourself and the team. Ability to read and write in English is necessary. The anticipated and current work schedule is a five-day week: Monday through Friday; 7 AM to 3 PM. DPS offers competitive wage and benefit packages.
