Job Title: Various Production and Ski Technician Openings

Type of Position: Seasonal, Full-Time (32-40 hours/week)

General Description of Duties

Headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah, DPS designs, manufactures and sells the world’s most advanced skis. We are looking for motivated individuals who are comfortable working with a small team in a demanding manufacturing environment where the highest level to attention and detail is required. A ski or snowboard enthusiast is a plus, as is a background in composites. Additionally, the successful candidate should be extremely detail-oriented with a strong desire to do their job perfectly. Must be able to lift 30 pounds from floor-to-table height on a regular basis and strive for constant improvement within yourself and the team. Ability to read and write in English is necessary. The anticipated and current work schedule is a five-day week: Monday through Friday; 7 AM to 3 PM. DPS offers competitive wage and benefit packages.

Job Title: Direct Sales Specialist 

Type of Position: Full-Time

General Description of Duties

Become an integral team member in a dynamic and growing company. DPS brings a fifteen-year legacy of innovation, with a brand deeply rooted in the core of the sport, and products that are design and engineering obsessed.

DPS is seeking a Direct Sales Specialist to support the growth of the DPS/PHANTOM direct-to-Consumer sales channel, and continue the tradition of excellent DPS customer service. The Direct-to-Consumer experience is important for DPS, and this position will be responsible for identifying and closing qualified sales leads and managing consumer order flow (email, phone/SMS, social media) using internal CRM, ERP and webstore applications.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

In-Season 

• Direct-to-Consumer order management 
• Managing all inbound sales communications, quantifying sales opportunities, and closing sales 
• Managing sales opportunities generated by dpsskis.com and phantomglide.com. This includes, but is not limited to, management of the front-end experience of our Shopify website, daily content sweeps, inventory reviews and review of abandoned carts 
• Ski finder administrator and point-person to answer consumer’s product related questions 
• Monthly reporting 
• Occasional attendance at trade/consumer events, sales meetings, and ski demo support 

Off-Season 

• On-going e-mail communication and CRM management 
• Ongoing sales lead generation 
• Participate in the annual Go-to-Market process, with a focus on growing the Direct-to-Consumer business 
• Work with the marketing, sales and operations teams to support continued website optimization 

REQUIREMENTS 

• Exceptional customer service and sales skill sets 
• Strong, direct, and eloquent written and verbal communications 
• Experience with Microsoft (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google (Docs, Sheets, Slides) applications 
• Demonstrated ability to learn and develop tools such as CRM and customer experience applications 
• Demonstrated ability to grow sales, meet deadlines, and manage the execution of the business plan across multiple departments and sales channels. 
• Demonstrated ability to remain on-task in a fast-paced work environment 

Physical+Travel Demands 

• Work early mornings, evenings, or weekends during peak seasonal periods, carrying heavy workload, attending, and assisting at demonstration events, or to meet deadlines and sales objectives 
• Local and national travel is required, particularly during the ski season (October-March)

• Lift boxes, binders, and other materials up to 40 lbs 
• Car, train, and/or airline travel as required

Job Title: Warranty & Events Coordinator

Type of Position: Full-Time

General Description of Duties

 

OVERVIEW

DPS is seeking a Warranty and Events Coordinator to work closely with factory management, sales and the fulfillment teams to support the growth of the DPS/ PHANTOM brands and continue the tradition of creating an excellent customer warranty experience. 

This role manages the daily warranty inquiries (email, social media, phone, walk-ins) relating to DPS and PHANTOM products. Each communication is a valued customer and requires prompt acknowledgment and a timely solution to the warranty issue. The DPS and PHANTOM brands participate in many trade and consumer events (sales meetings, trade shows, ski demos, retailer events) and the Warranty and Events Coordinator will support the sales and marketing teams throughout the annual business cycle. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

In-Season 

• Manage all incoming warranty communications from all channels, including consumer and wholesale customers 

• Provide excellent and timely service to customer warranty claims 

• Maintain and track the lifespan of all warranty claims, using the provided software applications 

• Provide feedback to design, engineering, and manufacturing with full product lifecycle trends 

• Manage and maintain the DPS and PHANTOM fleet of event assets. Work with VP of Sales on annual budgets and ordering of annual gear requirements 

• Manage and maintain the National Demo Fleet skis 

• Monthly reporting 

• Trade/consumer events, sales meetings, and ski demo support 

 

Off-Season 

• Crosstrain with factory team, supporting manufacturing as needed, during peak manufacturing season 

• Organize and present an annual warranty reporting 

• Ongoing sales lead generation through communication with DPS direct and wholesale customers 

 

REQUIREMENTS 

• Strong emotional intelligence. Demonstrate exceptional customer service and sales skill sets 

• Strong, direct, and eloquent written and verbal communications – including brand and product 

• Retail and ski tuning/service experience is desirable 

• Experience with the Microsoft and Google applications. 

• Demonstrated ability to learn and develop tools such as CRM and customer experience applications 

• Demonstrated ability to remain on-task in a fast-paced work environment
