Department: Shipping/Receiving/Inventory

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah

Job Title: Seasonal Shipping Associate

Type of Position: Seasonal, Full-Time (32-40 hours/week)


General Description of Duties

 

This position will support the shipping manager with dealer and direct orders as well as international logistics. The main goal of this position is to ship many direct and dealer orders. The applicant will actively be printing pick tickets from the ERP system, physically picking skis, boxing orders, and creating shipping labels from them. The applicant may mount orders or demo skis as needed. Additionally, the applicant will assist the Manager with large orders and inventory transfers that require shipment on a pallet via freight company.

The applicant will directly interface with Production, Sales, and Operations on a daily basis. These include but are not limited to: preparing rep demo skis, assisting with inventory counts, prioritizing dealer shipments, receiving and processing RMA’s in IQMS, making Trello cards for each inventory transaction, moving Limbo skis into inventory, and prioritizing WIP skis, and assisting with DSV inventory transfers.

Finally, each member of the DPS team is empowered to get actively involved with improving Lean manufacturing practices by continuously improving the efficiency of their workflow.

Job Title: Various Production and Ski Technician Openings

General Description of Duties

DPS manufactures and sells snow skis to customers and dealers alike, worldwide. We are looking for motivated individuals who are comfortable working with a small team in a demanding manufacturing environment where the highest level to attention and detail is required. A ski or snowboard enthusiast is a plus, as is a background in composites. Additionally, the successful candidate should be extremely detail-oriented with a strong desire to do their job perfectly. Must be able to lift 30 pounds from floor-to-table height on a regular basis. Ability to read and write in English is necessary. Ability to work with metric measurements is desirable. The anticipated and current work schedule is a four-day week: Monday through Friday; 6:15 AM to 4 PM. DPS offers incentive pay plus a competitive wage.

Job Title: Sales Representative

 

General Description of Duties

The DPS Europe sales team is recruiting dynamic product aficionados who are looking for a fast paced, collaborative work environment to build the most profitable relationships possible with each retailer in the market.

 

Major Functions 

+ Actively service existing retailers through strategic partnership initiatives, deliver best-in-class clinic training events, present new product lines and business relationship opportunities in engaging and unique ways at a diversity of events.

+ DPS’ primary goal is to drive sell through in a profitable way for every partner. Each rep is tasked with driving sell through at their retailer partners at full margin, driving sell through for the brand in accordance with forecast, and managing the utilization and placement of sample and demonstration products.

+ Meet territory forecasting needs and achieve quarterly sales requirements, driven by distribution maturation with existing and prospect retailers.

+ Host demo events

+ Attend and coordinate regional and international trades shows.

 

Work Experience Requirements

 

+ Minimum of 2 years’ sales experience as a sales representative or as an outdoor buyer at specialty outdoor retailer, with very strong and established relationships across a diversity of retailers in the territory.

+ Fluency in English along with Native Language.

+ Strong, dynamic, personality with a highly developed emotional intelligence for others.

+ Must be highly organized, flexible, self-motivated, and energetic individual, capable of “rolling with the punches” and excited to meet every new challenge as an opportunity to do something new.

+ Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, Google Applications), and demonstrated affinity to learning new computer systems.

 

Education Requirements

 

+ Bachelors degree in Business/Sales or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

 

Physical and Travel Requirements

The candidate must be able to:

+ Work evenings and weekends during seasonal periods of heavy workload, including events, travel, and deadlines.

+ Sit and use a personal computer for long periods of time.

+ Lift boxes, binders, and other materials up to 50 lbs.

+ 50% or greater travel requirement during peak season.
