DPS Cinematic Partners with Outdoor Research, New Belgium Brewing and Osprey Packs for Volume V of ‘The Shadow Campaign’
Three short films to be released during fall 2018
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – October 9, 2018 – DPS Skis has once again partnered with Outdoor Research – with additional support from New Belgium Brewing and Osprey Packs – to create Volume V of DPS Cinematic’s The Shadow Campaign. The trailer for the idyllic short film series, that was shot in Switzerland and Chile, will launch via DPS’ Facebook and Instagram pages on Thursday, October 11, 2018. The trailer will also be available at http://vimeo.com/dpsskis and https://www.youtube.com/user/DPSskis. Members of the DPS crew, affectionately referred to as Koalas, experienced the vastness of the Alps and Andes in a way few skiers have.
“We are excited to enter our fifth season of The Shadow Campaign with our longtime partners at Outdoor Research, and new partners Osprey Packs and New Belgium Brewing,” said Dan Benshoff, executive producer of DPS Cinematic. “Filming was unique this go around, but the resulting short films are amongst the best we have ever produced. This year's effort would not have been possible without tremendous help from our friends at the Engelberg-Titlis tourism office in Switzerland and Corralco Ski Resort in Chile.”
“The legacy of differentiated ski films continues,” said Christian Folk, director of marketing at Outdoor Research. “What we’ve come to expect from our partnership with DPS is incredible skiing – that gets skiers everywhere amped to shred – coupled with a unique story arc; and these films deliver that once again.”
“DPS continually captures the beautiful aesthetic of global skiing culture in their Cinematic series, which resonates with our employee-owners and countless Fat Tire Amber Ale drinkers worldwide, who simply love to get outside,” said Tyler Weady, outdoor community manager for New Belgium. “As a certified pro-environmental B-Corporation and longtime member of the environmental business coalition, 1% For the Planet, New Belgium invites everyone to join us in celebrating and protecting the great outdoors, hopefully with a Fat Tire in hand. Cheers to the DPS crew for showcasing the beauty of living an active outdoor lifestyle.”
“As longtime fans of the DPS Cinematic films, Osprey is thrilled to be on board for Volume V,” added Vince Mazzuca, director of marketing at Osprey. “We could not have picked a more complementary group of brands to collaborate with to build excitement for the upcoming winter. This trailer is just a small glimpse of the magic to come out of the Cinematic films this season.”
