On Shane McConkey

Like everyone in the ski industry, DPS is saddened at the loss of Shane McConkey. He was a pioneer and inspiration to all in the sport. He progressed big-mountain riding to new levels and also the skis we ride today. Our thoughts go out at this time to his family. His death, like many great influential innovators, came far too early. Shane McConkey was 39.
