DPS shines in Freeskier’s Test

We’re proud to announce that the DPS Skis Wailer 99, Yvette, and Wailer 112RP won Editor’s Pick awards in Freeskier Magazine’s 2013 Buyer’s Guide, with the Wailer 99 taking the top spot in their Microbrew category. Freeskier Magazine’s test was held at Snowmass Mountain in March 2013, hosting a crew of men and women skiers for several days of all-mountain riding—in all conditions—on 2013-14 skis from the world’s leading brands. Last year, the Wailer 99 and Nina were awarded Editor’s Pick awards from Freeskier—with the Wailer 99 repeating as the Microbrew category award winner. For 2013-14, the Wailer 99 again won Freeskier’s top spot, reinforcing its position as an all-mountain ace—and the ultimate daily driver. Freeskier said, “A repeat Editor’s Pick, the Wailer 99 was celebrated by testers for its ability to rock all around the frontside. “Super quick edge to edge; Light, agile, and fun; pop of those tails!” Also entering the winner’s circle this year was DPS’ women’s Yvette 112RP and its brother ski, the Wailer 112RP which each nabbed Editor’s Pick honors, respectively. The Wailer 112RP and Yvette 112RP, share the same platform and have been lauded by media worldwide. Other ski media agrees. Of the Wailer 99 Backcountry Magazine added from their test at Utah’s Powder Mountain that it, “Offers up a fun, playful ride by slashing and spraying turns however you want.” A tester also remarked that it’s “a powder pillager that is light enough to haul anywhere.” The Wailer 99, Yvette, and Wailer 112RP collectively are the ones you’ll want to spend the majority of your days on all season long. And with DPS’ newly launched construction evolution Pure3 is now available ondpsskis.com while inventory lasts, and through DPS dealers worldwide.
