Skiing Powder at Silverton Mountain

How was your October 7th? I'm trying to think what I was doing last week, and can't come up with a memorable experience-likely sitting behind the same desk in which I now sit. Apparently at Colorado's prized Silverton Mountain, some chargers were out there getting after it, enjoying an early sizable storm. First week of October and look how well covered things are. Doug Krause pictured here and in the photo below (courtesy of Silverton Mountain) seemed to have things covered too, floating DPS. Silverton may be in line for a big year; get out there and have a visit if you haven't, it's well worth the trip.
