Whistler in the Throws of It...

Kudos for the Vancouver Olympic committee for conspiring with the snow gods to create what will likely be the snowiest November on record. Whistler/Blackomb is reporting 142.5 inches of snowfall thus far, while the November average is 58 inches (164 inches being Whistler's current record). Great success. It certainly doesn't hurt that they have received about 80 inches in an all-out pummeling in the last 7 days. I'm no Willard Scott, but based on superficial research, it appears that while El Nino typically does not bode well for Western Canada, it doesn't really matter, because the snow is falling and trends are being de-bunked. Get up there if you can...
